All members of the State Bar of California are eligible to apply to become a member of the Lopardo Inn of Court, regardless of their level of experience. To be considered as a member of the Inn, individuals need to complete an application for review by our Executive Committee.
Annual dues for members of the Lopardo Inn of Court are based on years of professional experience. For associate members (attorneys with less than five years of experience) the Lopardo Inn of Court is making partial scholarships available to help defray the cost of becoming a member of the Inn (special thanks to Craig Combs at Wasserman Kornheiser Combs LLP.)
Why Join the Lopardo Inn?
Membership brings North County judges, experienced attorneys, newer lawyers, and students together for practical education, mentoring, and collegial relationships. Members attend monthly programs on legal practice and professionalism and work together in pupillage teams.
How Pupillage Teams Work
Each team includes members at different stages of their careers. Team members meet outside the monthly programs to plan and present a program for the Inn. Working together gives newer members an opportunity to learn directly from experienced attorneys and judges while contributing to the Inn’s educational programs.
