Our Membership Is Divided Into Four Experience Categories
Members are organized into “pupilage” teams combining a mix of Masters, Barristers, Associates, and student members.
- Masters (more than 15 years of litigation experience)
- Barristers (15 years or less of litigation experience)
- Associates (5 years or less of litigation experience)
- Students (from San Diego law schools and paralegals)
This arrangement fosters mentoring relationships between judges and senior members of the bar, and less experienced members. Each team presents one program per year on a topic of interest in a manner that shows rather than tells.
